About Kayla

I'm a proud mother of 3 beautiful children and with 14+ years of experience in ECE. I hold a formal education in ECE, which qualifies me to one day direct my own childcare center - a dream I'm actively working toward. I believe in fostering a child's independence and creativity through free-minded, play-based learning - while always providing a safe, nurturing environment with clear boundaries. Building a strong, trusting relationship with each child is at the heart of what I do. I want every child in my care to feel safe, supported, and truly seen. Additionally, I do require a family who is comfortable with my 14-month-old son being with me during care, as he will be with me full time. I see this as a wonderful opportunity for children to learn and grow together in a social, loving setting. I'm interested in working with a family who shares similar values, particularly Christian values, which are an important foundation in my home and approach to caregiving. I do gentle parenting.
