I have had the rewarding experience of working with autistic children in both structured and play-based settings. Through this work, I developed a deep appreciation for the unique ways each child communicates, learns, and engages with the world. I focused on building trust, supporting emotional regulation, and fostering social interaction using patience, consistency, and individualized strategies. This experience strengthened my skills in flexibility, empathy, and creative problem-solving, all of which are essential when supporting neurodiverse children.
