About Kavita

I am a Master's-educated tutor with a graduate degree from Georgetown University and a bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University. I am a currently working professional with experience in academic tutoring, childcare, and professional skill development. My background includes two years as a substitute teacher and serving as a teaching assistant for two undergraduate courses at Vanderbilt. I have worked with students of all ages, including infants and toddlers up to age 4 through 2-3 years in a nursery, as well as babysitting, teaching English remotely to children in China, and working with special education students. I also volunteered teaching science lessons to middle school students and tutoring during COVID. In addition, I offer tutoring in finance and Excel based on my investment banking background. I tutor finance, Excel, math, English, and general academic support and offer in-person and virtual sessions.
