About Katy

Hello! I recently graduated with a masters degree in Social Work in May 2021 and an undergraduate degree in social work in May of 2020. I have always had a passion for working with children, building connections and relationships, strengthening sense of community, empowering individuals and promoting wellness and safety. I have a diverse background of work experience - Behavioral Health; outpatient mental health services on children's team, domestic violence counseling, CAPIT (Child abuse prevention, intervention and treatment), autism clinic, housing shelters and elementary schools. I am very friendly, dependable, honest, hard-working, fast-learning and willing to provide support and assistance wherever it is needed. I am fun, positive, optimistic, and always create safe and supportive environment to help children and families thrive. I come from a place of respect and kindness and show unconditional positive regard to those around me.
