About Katy

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, resilient, and loving. I started working with kids when I was 15, I started out nannying as a summer job for a family with 4 kids. I am still close to the family to this day. I moved to a daycare center and worked mostly with toddlers for 2 years, at the same time I nannied an infant for a summer. Now I am pursuing my nursing degree and got registered as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Minnesota and North Dakota, I enjoy the health care setting but while I'm in school for my BSN and RN to hopefully become a midwife, I wanted to continue a job that a feel passionate and connected to that brings me joy while in nursing school. One thing you should know about me is, I like going outside and doing fun activities, I will always respect your wishes and boundaries when it comes to your family and home, but my motto is messes are temporary but memories are not. My skills include problem solving, getting young children to fall asleep, and being patient.
