About Katy

Hi everyone! I'm Katy and I am currently attending CSUB to complete my bachelor's degree in English. I intend to be a middle school English teacher once I graduate. In the meantime, I'm interested in helping out families who need either in-home childcare or one-on-one tutoring. I have over 15 years of experience as a nanny plus two years of experience in the classroom as an after school tutor. I am accustomed to morning routines (breakfast and school drop off) as well as evening routines (dinner and bedtime) and everything in between. For the upcoming fall semester, I am available in the mornings until about 12:00/1:00 on weekdays and I have some flexibility for weekends. I live in Earlimart with my husband and our three dogs, I stay active with weight-training and roller skating, and I love going to the movies on weekends. Let's connect!
