I highly recommend Katie.  She’s on time and very dependable.  She works quickly and thoroughly.  She’s very flexible and works with me to prioritize the day. 

I really liked Katy. I think she did a nice job on my upstairs area and I could tell she took time up there. We needed to work out what I needed her to help on, but what she did clean she did a nice job. I do wish that communication was better. I did ask her if she could help me clean before I had a party coming up a week in advance. She said she would let me know and I hadn't heard from her.. I value communication as a big part of a working relationship. If something cannot be done, a simple answer would be appreciated. She seemed to be a very kind lady and would have been a good fit I think. I would still recommend her as I think she did a nice job and will give her the benefit of the doubt that something happened and she could not contact me back. Hoping for the best for her.

Katy messaged me 13 minutes before her expected arrival and stated that she was running late with a eta of 30 minutes.  I appreciated this.  She called a bit later and apologized again and said she would be later.  She ended up starting an hour later than expected.  Honestly, I didn't even mind this too much.  But ultimately I think it set her back for another job or something else that she had going on and it showed in her work.

2 people used to clean my house and it took them 3 hours ($120).  Katy cleaned my house for exactly 3 hours and charged us $150.  She is listed as $21-25 an hour.  Obviously I don't mind spending the $150 for a cleaning, but it wasn't a solo, 3 hour job.  I won't get into specifics, but there just wasn't enough time for an efficient job to be done.  Her stating that and reflecting that in the cost would have been enough to bring her back.

Katy was nice and clearly competent.  I wish it was a better fit.

Katy always shows up and if there is a conflict she will communicate. She cares and takes the time to clean as if it were her own home .

She came and said all the right things at the interview! I was so excited to have her start! She told me she needed to do a deep clean and charged me extra for the first day as she would be here all day. I said yes, because if she did a deep clean I believed it would be worth it! She was here for 8 hours. But the house isn't clean!!! One of the bathrooms wasn't touched at all, the kitchen sinks weren't cleaned (literally still food particles in them!) stove top wasn't cleaned, she didn't clean the finished basement at all! One of the bathroom mirrors looks like it was cleaned with water, and you can tell from dirt on the ground and the vacuum lines she only vacuumed half the living room floor!? I feel totally screwed! She picked up, (which was discussed that she would do in the interview) but this house is not clean! I payed way too much for a deep clean, to not get a deep clean!!

We were very pleased with the deep cleaning Katy did at our home.  She and Lisa are now coming twice a month for regular cleanings.  Very happy with communication and level of service.  Glad to have found her through care.com.

I contacted Katy LAST MINUTE and within two hours she arrived with a smile, great personality and hard work. I have already referred her to my neighbor and will be keeping her contact number handy as she was an absolute pleasure to work with.
