About Katy

For over 10 years, I've been dedicated to nurturing children's growth and development. As a parent of older children, former teacher, and someone familiar with adoption, I'm passionate about making a positive impact on young lives. My approach is creative, friendly, and inspirational. I am comfortable caring for up to five children of all ages. I communicate with parents through regular updates via text or phone call, always following your preferred method. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and educational games. I have graduate-level coursework and training in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and Early Child Development. I am also certified as a teacher and trained as a doula. I am certified in CPR and First Aid. I can assist with cooking, carpooling, light housekeeping, travel, crafts, and swimming supervision. I speak English, Spanish, and Sign Language (ASL).
