About Katy

Hello! I am a nanny who loves nurturing a child's development and making a positive impact on their life. I have experience working with children ages 4 months-14 years. I aim to be a patient, loving, and calm presence for children. My graduate degree and experience informs my approach to play and developmentally appropriate activities that promote learning. I am comfortable with enforcing household rules, routines, and safety to ensure a consistent and fun environment for children. I love engaging children in outdoor play & also enjoy quiet time activities; reading, puzzles, and indoor games. In additon to my graduate degree, I have a bit of experience in the Montessori method and currently I help in an Atrium at my Catholic parish. My certifications include CPR & First Aid Training and I am also VIRTUS trained.
