About Katy

Hi! I'm Katy. I work full-time in HR & Operations, so I'm mainly available for occasional evenings and weekends. I graduated from UC Davis with bachelor's degrees in Political Science and English and have 7+ years of babysitting experience. I started working with kids as a teenager, helping my mom, a professional nanny, with the children she cared for. Since then, I've led children's birthday parties at Color Me Mine, worked in an after-school program at the Boys & Girls Club of the Peninsula, and continued babysitting for families whenever they've needed extra help. I'm patient, curious, and adaptable. I enjoy getting to know each child's personality and creating fun, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning. I'm happy to follow family routines and preferences while also taking initiative when needed. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, audiobooks, Sudoku, running, walking my dog, bouldering, and Lagree. I'm looking for families who value communication and reliability.
