About Katya

Hi! I'm Katya, a patient and encouraging tutor who enjoys helping students become more confident and independent in their learning. I'm currently studying Special Education at a local university, which has strengthened my ability to recognize different learning styles and adapt the way I explain concepts to each student. I work with elementary, middle, and high school students and can provide support with homework, studying, skill-building, and understanding challenging concepts. I believe learning should feel supportive rather than stressful, so I focus on meeting students where they are, breaking information down in ways that make sense to them, and helping them develop strategies they can use independently.
