I have taken college courses, state testing, and have hands on experience with these age groups and needs: Babies: 1 year Children 2-13 : 3 years Adults with cognitive impairments: 3 years Diabetes type 2: 6 years Autism: 2 years Geriatrics with dementia and and advanced schizophrenia: 18 months immobile and bedridden clients: 6 months Cerebral palsy (geriatric): 6 months immune compromise client : 3 years of protocol practice Gate belt: 6 months Bathing and hygiene: 6 years MARS, incident reports, medication administration, medical documentation: 6 years I prefer to transition my care from elderly care back to child care. I have burnt out from watching clients "weather" during their end of life transitions. Children are full of life, and I would like to put my care and maternal instincts to support families who can use my education and experience. I did not complete my Bacholars because I found I was and am doing what I love without an additional $22, 000 of unforgivable debts.
