About Katon
Hi there! I'm an incoming Stanford student, and I'm planning on majoring in math and data science! In high school I was involved in a program called "Middle College," where I was able to take college courses concurrently with my high school ones, enabling me to pursue high level math classes including Calculus I, Calculus II, Multivariable Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Ordinary Differential Equations. Learning math has always been a passion of mine, and I love helping others come to enjoy learning math as well! I like tutoring because I love to see the moment someone finally understands a difficult concept. The way someone goes "ohhhh" in a sudden realization of how a problem works out is something that makes tutoring incredibly rewarding. One thing you should know about me is that I'm very flexible as it's currently my summer and I don't have many plans. Therefore, most days and times will work for me!
