About Katina

Katina is an incredible childcare provider. She was a part-time nanny to my daughter from 6 mos to 3 years. She has been a Godsend to our family. I have nothing but positive things to say about the care that Katina provides. She puts safety first and is always attentive to my child’s needs and making sure she is safe at all times. She listens attentively to our requests and adapts to my individual family’s desires and needs whether that’s dietary, scheduling nap time, potty training support, getting her dressed and ready for an engagement, or supporting educational goals. She is deeply caring and warm, yet appropriately firm with clear boundaries. We have spent much of the 2.5 years in a nanny share situation where Katina cares for 2-3 children at a time and so I’ve also had the pleasure of seeing how she handles care for multiple children at one time; She handles it with so much grace and skill, always attending to every child’s needs and teaching important social skills like sharing and resolving conflicts. One of her many super powers is how she creates a day full of engaging and creative activities, exploratory play, hands-on and sensory-based okay, exercise, tons of outdoor time. She keeps to a structured routine for the kids but also changes up their activities within that structure with so much creativity, keeping things exciting, imaginative and challenging in the best ways. Katina is willing to take the kids outside even when it’s cold. She bundles them up appropriately always making sure the are warm and comfortable and gets them outside and active. She also takes them on little excursions to the library, community gardens, and the local museums. She teaches the kids age appropriate academics. Just yesterday I was watching her work on letter recognition and sounds with the 3 toddlers. It looked like a little school and they were thoroughly enjoying it. Katina is extremely professional, communicative and reliable. I have literally nothing negative to say. You will be so lucky to have her as your nanny.
