Hi! My name is Katie. I'm 24 years old and have my Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice. I am returning to UCF online to complete my Masters Degree in Criminal Justice and am deciding on a special focus in either Juvenile Justice or Corrections Leadership. I used work in Child Welfare as a Dependency Case Manager. I am currently a Correctional Probation Officer with FLDOC. I have a background in criminal justice and in child care. I worked as a morning and after school counselor for a year before switching to full time school support staff. I was a substitute teacher for a while and have gratefully worked with special needs students as well. I love watching children learn and grow. I believe in teaching self affirmations and practicing self love and kindness towards others.
