My name is Katie & I'm 39 y/o. I have 20+ yrs experience caring for children newborn-teen, including kids. w/ special needs, twins & triplets. I'm a COTA who is active, creative & would be w/ the children as well. Some of my hobbies include hiking & Art. Depending on the age of the children, some activities we might do include arts & crafts, chalk or sports outside if the weather is nice. I love to sing & read stories to the children & participate in imaginative play which can come in quite handy on rainy days. I also have a 13-month-old who I'd be looking to bring w/ me if I were to be working full days. I practice gentle/attachment parenting & take a Montessori approach w/ learning & discovery. It would be fantastic if the family I was w/ was also interested in this. I'm close with my family & believe in building a safe & trusting relationship with the family I'm working with. I'm reliable & believe consistency & trust is extremely important when working w/ children.

We have used Katie as a babysitter for the past 6 years. She helped care for my then 15 month old and my 7 week old girls. She still babysits for us occasionally and my girls are now almost 6 and 7 years old. She is absolutely wonderful with the kids and always plays with them, reads to them, cooks for them and teaches them so much! She is mature, on time, responsible, fun, caring, loving and very attentive to the children's needs. Any family would be lucky to have her and would be crazy not to hire her!! We love Katie!
