I'd describe my personality as warm, effusive, and perceptive In watching my own parents navigate their golden years, I have noticed how every day activities now pose certain challenges, and I feel so grateful to be nearby so that I can help them manage some of these events or activities. My heart goes out to their contemporaries who do not have family members nearby to help with the little things. I'm looking for a job that focuses on helping people like my parents, who might need companionship, or help with everyday living. I do not have a professional background in senior care, but it is a field that I am very drawn to, and I do have a personal background in senior care as my mother has dementia. I have lived on Hilton Head Island since 1998 and I have raised four children. I completed all coursework for a masters degree and professional counseling, and I am definitely drawn to the helping professions .
