I graduated with my B. S. in Astrophysics and want to help younger generations find a passion in STEM. I believe a strong foundation in truly understanding science, math, and English can help children to develop strong mindsets that will lead them to successful careers. I also have an extensive background in psychology and will tailor my tutoring style to your child's learning style. I have 10+ years of experience working with small children from coaching volleyball, babysitting, working at a kids center, and an elementary daycare. I currently develop STEM curricula for neurodiverse students so I am happy to provide supplemental materials for your students in addition to their regular school/homework. Katie is an AMAZING person and an amazing Tutor. Our son absolutely loved her and she motivated him in subjects that he didn't love to study. She was funny, fun, patient, wise, responsible, respectable...and really got to know him, his learning style and helped him tremendously during a very hard covid year. Katie is bright, caring, and overall an absolute wonderful gem of a person. We know she had to move on to her fellowship but we were very lucky and grateful to have her to help our son last year.
