About Katie

I'd describe my personality as energetic, gentle, and adaptable. I like working with kids because I enjoy making a positive difference, learning from the children I work with each day, and value creativity and learning through play. I'm looking for a job that allows me to give back to my community members while also continuing to be a present mother to my own child. I started working with kids after I graduated from West Chester University in 2020. I have been an elementary classroom teacher, substitute and intervention specialist and now am a mom myself. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, stay active, be outside and play music. One thing you should know about me is that I have a 1-year-old son who I would like to bring with me to nanny. My skills include safety awareness, engagement and play, and active listening.
