About Katie

Bringing joy and care to children and teens has been my passion for my entire career. My previous nannying and caregiver experiences and a genuine desire to positively impact young lives led me to this fulfilling path of supporting families. I'm patient, creative, and friendly. I especially enjoy using activities as fun learning opportunities, from messy hands-on play to creative art projects. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children of all ages. I have a college degree and training in First Aid, CPR, and a degree in Recreational Therapy. I am happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, carpooling, travel, and even swimming supervision. As someone with a golden retriever at home, I am very comfortable with pets. I always follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules and am flexible in communicating about your child's day, whether through texts, photos, or a daily log. Helping children explore, learn and thrive is what I love most.
