About Katie

I have been working with children since I was 16. I am currently a third year student at Cal State San Marcos. I am a Child Development major and I plan to go into speech pathology with children. My experience: - My first job was where I was a children's gymnastics coach, I taught all ages. I went through months long training to be qualified to teach new born "mommy and me" classes and as well as teach 3yo, 4-5yo and 6-10yo groups. - I volunteered for 6 months at Preschool which is a parent/teacher co-opt preschool and I worked as an assistant teacher. - I currently do volunteer work twice a week at in Escondido, there I am placed with the 2-year-old age group. - The spring-summer of 2024, I worked as a nanny for a family in my hometown.
