I have been babysitting since I was about 12, giving me about 9 years of experience. I am dedicated and passionate about creating a safe, but fun environment. With a patient and calm demeanor, I am skilled at managing the needs of children of various ages, from toddlers to preteens. I am quite creative when it comes to thinking of fun activities. Open communication is essential, and I ensure regular updates with parents about their child's day, either verbally at pickup or through text or phone calls. I am somewhat comfortable enforcing household rules, understanding that consistency and structure are crucial for children's development. I am also a certified lifeguard of 5 years now, I was a swim instructor for about 3 years, and a camp counselor for 6 years.
