About Katie

Hello! I just moved back to Chicago after receiving my masters in education from the University of Maryland. In addition to this degree, I also have a background in early childhood education, having spent 2 years working in daycares primarily caring for infants and toddlers. Recently, I have worked as a nanny for a wonderful family in Maryland. I am looking for occasional, part-time work this summer while I am on break from school and looking for first year teaching positions in Chicago Public Schools. My availability as of right now is pretty open, and if we are a good fit, I would love to stay on and help with date-night type jobs once I start teaching. I have a car and am willing to travel in the Chicagoland area, for a family that is the right fit! Considering the price of gas, if your job requires a good bit of traveling, I am open to negotiating supplemental payment to assist with gas!
