I genuinely enjoy taking care of, teaching, and entertaining children. I enjoy entertaining them with indoor and outdoor games or experiences. I previously worked in a daycare for two years, with all ages, and can provide references from the daycare and many others I have babysat and nannied for. I have my own transportation, and am willing to help cook/prepare meals, light housekeeping, laundry or anything else you may need help with. I am very respectful, and responsible, I do have a college degree in Elementary Education, and I am CPR certified. I use my educational knowledge to structure a valuable curriculum with rich play and sensory experiences, and very little (if any) screen time. I am comfortable with pets as well! Katie has watched my daughter since she was 3 months old and has done an amazing job. I am a first time mom and was very nervous to leave my baby once I went back to work. Katie is very good about staying in contact throughout the day and sending pictures and videos. This helped ease my mind a lot and allowed me to still get to see my baby girl once I went back to work. She is great at working with me when my schedule would change and would need to stay home. She is always coming up with new ideas and games to play with my daughter to keep her learning and engaged. I would highly recommend hiring her. The only reason we are no longer going to have her as our nanny is because we are moving.
