Katie was an amazing nanny for my family. Our situation was a hard one. My son has behavioral issues and we were waiting for a behavioral therapy school slot to open for my son. We hired Katie understanding that this might not work due to my son’s behavior of running away, emotional outbursts etc. we talked to Katie and shared how we handle him. She did a wonderful job. She understood that his behavior was his and didn’t take it personally. Which allowed a safe environment for my son. She was patient and kind. She cooked for him to get him to eat different foods. He now eats so well and wants to try new things because of her. She worked with him on his school work. She found so many different resources to support his education. She also gave me a piece of mind that he was safe and well taken care of after the negative experience I had with daycare. She healed that for me. Katie also took care of my daughter as well when she was not in school. My kiddos loved her so much. Not only was she a great nanny she is a wonderful person. She’s reliable, loving kind, helpful. She truly loves being a nanny and gives all she has to make the experience wonderful. She also can handle any type of child. My son would test her and she always kept calm. She forgave whatever he would give to her. Katie was truly a gift to my family in a time that was in turmoil. I would hire her back in a heartbeat. The last gift I will mention is Katie helped me…..she shared all the resources she found for my son. She was like a second mom to my children which I needed. It’s hard to go through the experience we did and she was right there to help me figure it out. As a mom it was so nice to have that support. I can’t speak highly enough about Katie. Any family would be lucky to have her.
