I have a calm and patient demeanor, that coupled with my creativity and approachability, creates a nurturing environment for children to thrive. I love watching them explore and learn about our world. From board games and puzzles to outdoor exploration and imaginative play, I enjoy a variety of activities that stimulate children's minds. I keep a child's day structured but explorative, and try to include learning while playing as often as possible I have 20 years of experience with my own 3 children, and 7 years with littles outside my own, and am comfortable caring for all stages. I can help with cooking and meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, travel, and swimming supervision. First Aid and CPR certified, and will keep it current. I usually keep a daily log for the families and ensure open communication at all times. I myself love baking, reading, photography and a good Disney movie.

I would highly recommend Katie for your childcare needs. Katie worked with our family for 2 years and her time was just cut short solely due to my family relocating. She is professional and reliable. She has a great way with kids and is very creative as well. Her additional household duties included light housecleaning and meal prep. She also washed and put away the children’s clothes. We had a 2-3 yr old and a newborn to 1.5yr old during her time with us. She met each child on their level. She also did well with helping my elderly parents when needed. She’s very reliable and will even try to come to work in a storm! Added bonus is she’s a great baker! Again, I’d highly recommend her for your nanny/family care needs.
