About Katie

I'd describe my personality as calm, nurturing, and patient. I like working with kids because I love watching their individual personalities grow. I've been working with kids in different aspects since I was a young teenager. I'm looking for a job that allows me to bring my child with me. I started working with kids when I was a young teenager. I babysat regularly for my teens years into college. I was a therapist for children in foster care and then as a social worker in a pediatric clinic. I am currently a stay at home mom. I have also served in the nursery at my church for several years. In my spare time, I love to play tennis. I love spending time with my husband and our families/friends. My skills include patience, caregiving, and keeping things fun!
