About Katie

When I was 13 years old, I began my first babysitting job for a family from my church. I initially began just engaging with the children while the mother would do work around the house, and eventually, I babysat the children when a date night was needed. I still keep in touch with this family to this day. Since then, I have babysat for other families. In the past, I was a camp counselor for children who had disabilities. I currently work in special education as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired. I have also worked as an instructional assistant for the Extended School Year program (ESY) for children who have special needs.
