About Katie

Hello! My name is Katie. I'm currently the Director of Education at a private preschool, but I'm looking to transition into a nanny role with a family who values early childhood development and a play-based approach to learning. My goal is to combine my passion for teaching with the ability to stay home with my daughter. I earned my degree in Education from Texas Tech University and have 8 years of classroom experience. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, and I love creating engaging, hands-on activities that make learning fun and meaningful. I believe that children learn best through play and exploration, and I strive to make each day a joyful learning experience. In addition to childcare, I'm happy to help with cooking, errands, grocery pick-up, or other household tasks as needed.
