About Katie

I'd describe myself as friendly, respectful and organized. I like working with kids because I am a nurturing person and it comes very natural to me to care for others. I also love being able to care for, provide a safe environment for and support children in a way that I never got to experience. I'm looking for a job that helps me feel like I'm being supportive to my community while getting the financial support I need. I started watching children and babysitting with assistance when I was young. I started professionally working with kids when I was 17. In my spare time, I like to rest, do Pilates, eat, journal, watch tv, clean and organize and go thrift shopping. One thing you should know about me is I genuinely want kids to feel heard, seen, loved, cared for, safe, wanted and valued and that reflects in the way that I care for them and speak to them. They will be protected and treated as if they're my own. My skills include consistency, kindness and being assertive.
