Hi, I'm Katie. I've lived in Portsmouth / Norfolk my entire life. When my parents began to age I saw how hard caregiving is on families. How a garden becomes weeds, the bird feeder stays empty and small house tasks become major damage. I'm here to help. I have a father who had a severe stroke, leaving him handicapped. I know the challenges, it's tough on a family, and sometimes we just need a break. I'd describe my personality as Positive, Courteous and Reverent. I like caring for seniors because I understand how tough it is on families. I'm looking for a job that helps a senior feel whole again. I'm female, and willing to do yard work, gardening, weed pulling, mowing, house tasks, etc to help an aging adult stay at home and feel their loved activities can stay in place. One thing you should know about me is I'm here to help. I'm a civil engineer by education and experience. Caregiving is my extra.
