About Katie

I am a (youngish) and energetic mother of four grown children between the ages of 23 and 30. I have always loved working with children. I was my daughter's Girl Scout leader. I worked in a local school as a kindergarten assistant, a preschool assistant and got my 90 hours of early childhood education certificate and taught my own classroom. I also worked in the extended day program at the same school with children 3 years old through eighth grade. I love watching young children grow and learn and enjoy teaching them how to do every day things in a fun way while helping them to gain independence. You will see me playing indoor and outdoor games and being silly with kids! I would love to find a family that I can get to know and give peace of mind to while away. If you are looking for someone who enjoys children, has early education experience, is CPR certified, and is ready to help make your life a little easier, I am your person!
