About Katie

Hi! My name is Katie and I'm a third-year student at NC State studying Biology. I have a genuine love for working with children and creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for them to grow and learn. My schedule is very open and flexible, which allows me to be available when families need consistent or occasional help. I have reliable transportation and am certified in both CPR and First Aid, so safety is always a top priority for me. I'm responsible, attentive, and love planning age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity and creativity. Whether it's going on walks, reading books, or playing outside, I aim to make every moment meaningful and fun for the kids I care for. I'm also comfortable helping with light household tasks related to the child, such as preparing snacks, tidying play areas, or doing laundry.
