I have been a CNA for about 10 years now. I have worked with a wide variety of patient's. From assisted help, to complete care. I recently took care of a 45-year-old quadriplegic man. I spent about 4 hours in the morning getting him up, as well as spending about 2. 5 hours at night putting him to bed. That includes personal cares (including catheters, splints, sleeping machines, and other cares) I assist with a shower every morning, and I also assist with Range of Motion. I have done in home care as well for age ranging from 60-93 as I would make meals, would do some small house cleaning things and even just come to talk and/or go get ice cream with.
