About Katie

I started my experience in childcare at the age of 12 as a mother's helper for my mom's friends. That led to me being a full time babysitter for several families throughout middle school and high school. In early college I worked in after school care at a Montessori school, there I connected with the family I became the nanny for 2 years. These various types of childcare positions have given me the experience for caring for children of all ages, from infants to teenagers, I'm confident in my ability to provide a safe and stimulating environment. I'm patient, friendly, and always follow parents' lead when it comes to household rules and preferred communication methods. I'm happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, carpooling, crafts, and swimming supervision. I can comfortably care for up to four children - depending on level of care needed.
