About Katie

Hi! I'm Katie, an environmental science graduate with a big love for nature-based education and hands-on learning. I've led educational field trips and community programs with Muskegon County Parks, where I helped kids explore the outdoors, build curiosity, and learn through experience. I've also taught marine science in the Florida Keys with the Pigeon Key Foundation, working with students of all ages to make ocean science fun, engaging, and accessible. I bring a calm, safety-first approach to childcare, supported by prior CPR, First Aid, and lifeguard training. I love encouraging kids to explore nature, ask questions, and feel confident trying new things - whether that's a beach walk, a park adventure, or a simple backyard discovery.
