About Katie

Hi! My name is Katie, and I’m a college student at Tufts University studying Biomedical Engineering on the pre-med track. I’ve been babysitting for about seven years and have experience caring for children of all ages - from infants (400+ hours) to school-age kids. I’m a certified EMT with hands-on experience providing care in medical and emergency settings, which has made me calm under pressure and confident working with children who have special needs or medical complexities. I spent this past summer as the lead instructor at a summer camp and have also worked as a ski coach, so I love keeping kids active, engaged, and having fun. Outside of babysitting and classes, I work in a BME research lab and enjoy sports photography in my free time. Families describe me as responsible, energetic, and caring. I’m currently looking for occasional babysitting, with the possibility of taking on more full-time hours over the summer. I’d love to connect and learn more about your family’s needs!
