I knew I wanted to be a nurse when I was a volunteer candy striper at a local hospital while I was in high school. I have worked for 29 years in hospitals, nursing homes specifically Alzheimer /Dementia units. I love taking care of people especially geriatric patients. Katie is very thoughtful and hardworking. She goes above and beyond caring for my non ambulatory incontinent 95 yo grandmother with dementia and seizures on hospice. She regularly assists with diaper changes, meal preparation, personal hygiene, laundry, transportation to senior center lunches and most recently assisted with transportation to the beauty salon. She is kind to my children, husband, and in-laws when visiting. We appreciate all of her help!
