I'm a mother of four kids ages 12, 14, 18, and 20. Most of my life I have focused on taking care of kids at home, my own as well as others. When I was 18 years old I started my own in home daycare. Being a part of a child's life is pure joy to me. I've always had a passion for seeing kids treated like the full human beings they are. Our culture still has so far to go in moving away from the "kids are to be seen and not heard" paradigm. I long to elevate the voices of children. I respect them with my whole being and I revere what they have to say. Nothing makes me happier than being someone a kid can count on.
