About Katie

Hi there! My name is Katie, i'm 19 years old and I currently attend Florida International University. I'm looking to babysit/nanny part time while in school. I love working with kids because they bring joy, fun, and every day is something different. It is rewarding to see them grow as you make an impact on their lives. I began working with children in high school, where I was in an Early Childhood Education class. I then began working at a preschool in their aftercare program as well as the summer camp. (children aged 1-5) I worked there consistently for two years and go back for the camp every summer. I also have babysitting experience. My goal as a caregiver is to provide a safe space for your child to feel happy and cared for in. I would describe myself as creative, patient, reliable, attentive, and aware. I love planning lessons, crafts, and other activities to keep the child engaged! I'm happy to help out with light housekeeping, cooking, pets, and homework as well!
