I have always been very patient and observant and with those qualities I learned a lot about the children I worked with. One girl love to listen to me read the Cat in the Hat while another boy I worked with loved to get his hands dirty. He loved playdoh and paint and shaving cream.

Katie worked for our family for 9 months, picking up our 9 year old twin boys after school, taking them to local parks, lunch, music lessons, etc., then to home for homework and dinner. During the summer she worked full time and had the boys all day long. One of my boys is slightly autistic and can get explosive easily. She was always very calm with him and his brother. Katie is very straightforward and easy to communicate with. We only let her go because I lost my job.
