Hello! My name is Katie and I work full-time as a special education teacher during the school year. I mainly work with students with Autism, Down Syndrome, learning delays and behavioral disabilities. I am available after school hours for private academic and social skills tutoring, ABA therapy, and/or assisting with daily living skills. I also have my own car with a clean driving record and am available to take your child to the grocery store/park/library/movie theater etc. to practice life skills and leisure skills. I have worked with children with special needs for 20 years and have been a Special Education Teacher in self-contained settings for 10 years.
