About Katie

Hi! My name is Katie, and I'm a rising junior at Penn State. I've spent my summers on Nantucket since I was 4 years old and will be on island from July 19 to August 20 this summer. I'm looking for a consistent babysitting commitment during that time. Ideally 4 days a week, for 4-5 hours a day, with flexibility for date nights. I've been babysitting since I was 14 and have experience caring for children of all ages (0-14). I also love animals and would be happy to help with pets while I'm working. I'll have housing and a car on the island, so I'm able to take kids to the beach, activities, or appointments as needed. I was also actively involved with Best Buddies in high school, so I have experience interacting with children with disabilities. I'm in the Honors College at Penn State on the pre-law track, and I'm also available for tutoring if that would be helpful. I can provide references and a professional resume upon request.
