About Katie

I am a sophomore at MSU studying animal science. I was raised on a small farm with animals of all shapes and sizes. I spent several years showing rabbits, poultry, pigs, cows, sheep, goats, and dogs. we always had 1-3 dogs and 1-2 cats so I have spent a lot of time training, taking care of and monitoring several different breeds and ages. I also have cared for cockatiels, fish, and a lizzards. My mother and oldest sister work as veterinary assistants/techs in small animal medicine and I have interned and shadowed at both large and small clinics. I competed in veterinary science in FFA for 4 years and placed top 10 at the state level with my knowledge of veterinary medicine and handling skills. My background in showing/raising livestock forced me into consistent routines that I will use to provide exceptional care for your beloved pets.
