About Katie

Nurturing children comes naturally to me. With four years of experience caring for children aged 0-6, I've learned that a creative and friendly approach works best. My previous babysitting roles showed me how much I enjoy making a positive impact on young lives. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children and readily enforce household rules. I really gained my love for childcare with my own children staying up late nights caring for them. I communicate with parents using their preferred method, including verbal updates and texts. I enjoy playing outdoors and educational games with children. I am also happy to assist with cooking, light housekeeping, carpooling, travel, and swimming supervision. I have First Aid and CPR Training, plus early childhood development coursework. I'm working towards my newborn and infant care specialist certification.
