About Katie

Hello, my name is Katie! I am a Nanny and Full Spectrum Doula in Philadelphia. I've worked as a care giver for over 10 years. I started my career as a preschool teacher for Primrose Schools and then transitioned to nanny work. I have cared for all ages from infant to school age as well as several sets of multiples (twins & triplets). I became involved with birth work 5 years ago so I could provide families with more holistic care and trained with Britt McCollum, Chanel Porchia Albert and Carriage House Birth. I can provide care during postpartum, miscarriage/fetal loss, abortion and more. I'm qualified to teach preschool/pre-k curriculum, have taken CPR, First Aid and communicable disease courses. I also have experience teaching swimming lessons. I love music-I sing, play piano and guitar and organize a queer music/arts fest in Philadelphia. I am also happy to provide pet care, meal prep, household organization, errand running and light housekeeping.
