About Katie

Hi, my name is Katie! I am currently entering my junior year at Providence College and have spent most of my life living in Sandwich, MA! As I have been babysitting for about 8 years now, I cannot think of a time where I did not enjoy being around children. Along with my babysitting experience, I spent one day per week for a semester working within a kindergarten class. This time I spent working alongside a kindergarten teacher is one I not only adored but allowed me to gain experience with children of various personalities. Through this, I obtained many skills in engaging and teaching the class as a whole and forming connections with each student individually through one-on-one interactions and care. I have always had a very high-spirited and light-hearted personality, which becomes an advantage in appealing to and connecting with kids. I also have a car- meaning I would be able to pick up/and run errands.
