About Katie

I'd describe my personality as understanding, patient, and empathetic. I like working with kids because I have three of my own and just love watching kids in general learn and grow. I'm looking for a job that allows me to work outside of an office while also providing an opportunity to help someone else in need of support. I started working with kids when I was a teenager and continued through to when I became a parent of my own at 25. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family traveling and just seeking out new experiences for me and my kids. My skills include I have been a mom for 12 years and a mom of three for two years which means I am very skilled in the art of communicating with children in a language they understand, creativity, and patience might be my biggest asset or skill.
