I have worked with children in professional settings such as schools, dance studios, clubs, and more for around 7 years. I also have 4-5 years of experience in childcare for individual families with various backgrounds and needs. Children are my life, as I am studying to be a teacher, and I prioritize a fun and educational environment. I currently have my bachelors degree and I am getting my MA in secondary education. During the school year I work as a SPED paraprofessional and work one on one with students of various needs. All children deserve to be loved and cared for, so I am happy to work with kids with special needs and have the experience to do so. I also have worked in the Spokane School District as a tutor and ran full lessons in SEL, math, history, reading comprehension, and much more; so I am happy to help students with homework and learning.

Katie is an amazing babysitter. She babysits my 2 year old son and 6 month old daughter at night and is amazing with them. Whenever my husband and I come home late at night, both kids are in bed sleeping. My son gets excited when she comes over and seems to be very comfortable with her. She's very patient and trustworthy. I would definitely recommend for young children.
