During my time in New York, I worked for 8+ families providing consistent after school care in addition to periodic weekday morning/evening, and weekend care. I have over 10 years of experience engaging kids with an array of activities, getting outside, and reading! With a background in theatre & performance, I have an easy time entertaining kids. Katie came to us through a friend of the family, to help with after school care for our 2 boys, ages 12 and 8. She picked them up from school, took them to after school activities, tutoring and doctor appointments, arranged play dates, helped with homework, gave them dinner, even helped with our 2 dogs. She is fun, smart, energetic, and my kids absolutely adore her. She is also totally reliable and trustworthy, I cannot recommend her highly enough.
